Ode to the Mini Food Processor

My friend sticks with me through and through,
And when inspiration strikes, I know just what to do.
I haul him out from his hiding place,
Set him on the counter and clear the space.

With a dash of that and a whir of this,
I add ingredients, making sure that I miss
None of the goodness they have to give,
After all, I don't live to eat, I eat to live.

Though his diminutive size is less impressive,
The masterpieces he churns out are quite obsessive.
Who could imagine such tasty creations
Could be made with my fruit and veggie nations?

And nations I do mean, as you can see,
This pile of bananas is all for me.
They're destined to become some banana butter,
Or the PB-banana combo that makes my heart flutter.

My next creation needs quite a freeze,
Before it can be turned into a masterpiece.
Plain or mint flavored, I'll enjoy it today,
That's banana ice cream, made my way.

And finally for something of a different style,
It requires no stacks of bananas in a pile.
Instead the humble avocado I will use,
Whose heart-healthy fats have been lately in the news.

A pudding I'll make, adding some carob powder,
And I'll turn on the machine louder and louder
Till it produces a decadent cream
And to it, "delicious!" will I deem.

I hope you've enjoyed this little ditty,
And found it funny and rather witty.
Smile and be glad that it's finally Friday,
And you have the weekend to frolic study away!

  6. Yup, I can't believe that it took me this long to figure it all out. Seems to be happening with a lot of things lately! I had really bad digestive problems for YEARS and just recently I figured that out too! Ah, the universe giveth when the time is right I suppose!

I don't think my life would be the same without my trusty food processor! Love avo pudding!
