Voila! I would post a picture of my date and I, but I didn't feel like divulging my blog, so you'll just have to imagine a man in uniform... ;-)
When we got our place cards for the table, mine had a bowl of lettuce on the back. I had a blonde moment and it took me some time to figure out that that meant I was getting the vegetarian entree...haha. Because it was at an Italian banquet hall, I figured the entree would probably be pasta, which I was a bit bummed about, but my date was super sweet and said, "Don't worry, I'll take care of it." How sweet. But when they brought out the entree, it was a pile of stir-fried veggies with two mounds of white rice. I passed on the rice, but the veggies were ever so delicious! I was quite pleased with the whole thing.
Now I've had this song from the dance stuck in my head, ALL DAY.
But yesterday before the dance, I was chilling in my room and felt really, really thirsty. So I drank water. Lots of water. But perhaps too much, as I started to feel odd and a bit light-headed. I realized I probably should have been drinking something other than water too, so I ran to the campus store to get some sugar. Luckily, I found some watermelon, so I grabbed that, but I also wanted some chocolate.
Unfortunately, all they had was this cheap stuff, but I bought it anyway.
Let's take a closer look:
Hmmm..."a little something for everyone?" I don't think so. Not unless it has my Green and Black's Maya Gold chocolate bar, haha. But the watermelon and chocolate helped and I felt much better, just in time to begin the process of getting ready. Ladies, can you sympathize with the amount of time it takes to get ready for a special occasion?
I've also been going through apples like none other.
My favorite: organic Gala
And what would you expect? More Naked. And guess what? I found a flavor I don't like. Shocker, I know.
I picked up this baby, thinking it would be something like Green Machine, since it had veggies in it. And the color was amazing.
So I sipped it. It had a nice first taste with a good, thick texture, but then I got to the aftertaste. What was that horrid flavor? I looked at the ingredient label:
What's that? 91 kernels of sweet corn? That's what I was tasting, and let me tell you, it was NOT pleasant. Please do yourself a favor and don't buy this kind. Yuck.
I'll stick with my Orange Carrot. ;-)
Sushi in a few minutes! Whoot! Enjoy the rest of your evening...Did you do anything fun this weekend?
