Sorry for not posting in a while; this week has been insane! Last weekend I went to visit my sister in Dallas, so I have a lovely post coming up with my eats last weekend. But, I just bought this new salad dressing and I was dying to try it, so even though I was going to head down to the dining hall later last night, I couldn't resist trying it. I cut up some kale and fennel bulb, and dressed it with this bad boy:
Twas delicious. It didn't really taste like "Lemon Goddess." It had more of an Asian flavor, but it was soo good. Most of the ingredients were organic, and all of them were recognizable! And the stats were pretty good too... I think I'll try some of their other dressings as well.
I think I put a little too much dressing on, however. I don't like my greens swimming in dressing. When I go out to restaurants, I actually prefer getting my dressing on the side and just dipping my greens in ever so slightly. I don't like a lot of dressing. But I think my eyes are too big for my stomach (aren't all of ours?), so I tend to overdress my salad. Bummer.
How much dressing do you like? Does that ever happen to you?
Anyway, here is the finished product:
It really hit the spot.
Have a great Thursday evening and the Dallas post will be coming soon!
